Scientific Interests

Dr. Yanyuan Wu's research has focused on identifying specific cellular and molecular markers for early detection, prevention and management of breast cancer, understanding the molecular pathology of breast cancer in underserved populations and engaging in target therapy. Her current research is to study the oncogenic role of AKT and the transcription factors Snail and Slug in HER2/neu overexpressing breast tumor.
