UCLA Value-Based Care Research Consortium

We aim to dramatically improve health care value and associated meaningful patient-centered outcomes through multiple mechanisms:

• Serve as a bridge between health system operations and health services researchers to promote rapid, data-driven decision making, and support UCLA Health's ongoing learning health system efforts.
• Promote a culture of high-value care across UCLA Health, including exposing researchers and students to value-based care delivery and payment models and methods to evaluate these models.
• Facilitate collaborative interaction among diverse stakeholders to generate and implement innovative, scientifically-grounded and technology-based solutions that will improve healthcare value at UCLA Health.
• Disseminate findings through national forums and networks to promote high value care practices across the nation.
