mEDI-pEDI Committee

The image on the right reflects the mission of our mEDI-pEDI committee. Standing on the foundation of health equity and the commitments of our community, we aim to advance the themes of diversity, inclusion, justice, and accessibility for marginalized populations and those from under-represented backgrounds including but not limited to those represented in the graphic above. As Med-Peds physicians we aim to promote health equity for adults and children through our five pillars (Clinical Care, Scholarship, Education, Recruitment, and Advocacy). UCLA mEDI-pEDI aims to create a unique space for EDI innovation and leadership within the specialty of Med-Peds.
