Fellows are actively encouraged to participate in clinical research. They are expected to complete at minimum one abstract to be presented at a national conference. Examples of ongoing projects in the section include cryobiopsy for ILD, cryobiopsy for sarcoidosis, evaluation of immunotherapy-related pulmonary disease, EBUS for pulmonary vascular disease, and a clinical trial evaluating a novel pleural fibrinolytic.
