About - Rx to Play
UCLA Prescription To Play (Rx to Play)
Housed within the UCLA Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Prescription to Play program services the para-athletic and disabled communities by providing adapted sports medicine care, training and resources, all while decreasing barriers to participation in sport and fitness, and promoting awareness through research and education.
We connect UCLA Health Physicians and David Gaffen School of Medicine Students with the adapted space to provide top of the line sports medicine care and hands on experience and education for future providers.
The Rx to Play program in partnership with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and our affiliates will also conduct research in the adapted field, pushing our clinical understanding further and empowering the community.
