Bio
Dr. Elsheikh earned his PhD in Immunology from the University of Khartoum in November of 2018 and completed a two-year Fellowship in Immunogenetics at the UCLA Immunogenetics Center, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in June of 2024. His research work focused on HLA association with diseases. In addition to sharing responsibilities for training of residents and fellows, Dr. Elsheikh’s clinical duties include technical oversight for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics testing, development of clinical pathways, monitoring compliance with the QC Plan, test development, validation, and implementation.
