Fun Fact: I enjoy acrylic painting. I’ve been growing my home gallery of organ systems with life milestones. During residency I made one titled “The Interlaced Mind” and when I matched into GI fellowship I made another of the GI system titled the “Little Brain.” Next organ is TBD.
Least interesting thing about you: I do not have a middle name. When I was little, I used to want a middle name that started with “I” so my initials could be “MIB” aka “Men In Black.”

Least interesting thing about you: I tend to stick to foods I like and often eat the same ones repeatedly once I find a new favorite.
Never leave home without…I always keep an emergency beach chair and towel in my car because you never know when an unexpected beach day might arise
Research Interest: I am passionate about addressing childhood obesity through community-based initiatives. My experience advocating and working with underserved populations has shaped my goal to develop research and interventions that tackle food insecurity and its impact on childhood obesity.
