Cholesterol Hypertension and Atherosclerosis

Find your care

The UCLA cardiovascular team cares for all types of heart and vascular conditions. Call 310-825-9011 to connect with a cardiovascular customer care specialist.

The goal of the UCLA Cholesterol, Hypertension, and Atherosclerosis Management Program (CHAMP) is to reduce our patients' risk of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks, strokes, kidney problems, and other conditions related to the long-term effects of lipids and blood pressure. Our focus is on employing state-of-the-art medical, dietary, and diagnostic strategies in order to afford our patients to learn from the experience of experienced specialists in these areas. There are also opportunities to learn about and participate in clinical research in these conditions for those patients who may be interested.

With care provided by members of the UCLA Division of Cardiology, CHAMP is ideally suited for patients who seek specialty care of high cholesterol and/or triglycerides levels, low HDL-cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, a family history of heart disease, or a combination of these conditions.
