Learn About Our Volunteering Opportunities

The UCLA Health West Valley Medical Center volunteers play a key role in our caring healthcare team. Volunteers provide thousands of service hours each year to the medical center and help support our patient care mission: to care for every patient like our own family. Consider the many ways you can make a difference through volunteering. There are a wide variety of opportunities, from working as a greeter at the information desk to assisting in various hospital departments. Our volunteers enjoy a wonderful camaraderie.

We ask for a minimum commitment of six consecutive months and 100 hours. Many volunteers enjoy their work so muchthey contribute many more hours for many years.

At the present time our volunteer program is on “pause” due to the transition from West Hills Hospital to UCLA West Valley Medical Center.  I am hoping that the program will resume soon.  Please check the UCLA West Valley Medical Center website for future information regarding the volunteer program.
