Mission Statement and Goals
The newly founded UCLA Health Integrative Medicine Collaborative unites integrative medicine programs under a shared mission and aim. In addition to the goal of opening the UCLA Health Center for Integrative Medicine, this collaborative will enhance patient, employee, and community knowledge and access to the many integrative medicine services and offerings.
Mission Statement
The overall mission of the UCLA Health Integrative Medicine Collaborative is to foster comprehensive approaches to optimize health and wellness. The aim is to promote and advance evidence-based integrative methods and empower individuals to actively participate in their own well-being.
Goals
The goals of the UCLA Health Integrative Medicine Collaborative are to:
- Increase access to coordinated and personalized integrative medicine services
- Provide education on integrative approaches to health and wellness
- Promote academic research to advance evidence-based and cost-effective integrative medicine methods
- Develop and advocate policies to enhance awareness and expand resources for the study and application of integrative medicine in conjunction with other integrative health programs at UCLA
