The UCLA Multidisciplinary Children's Lung Disease Clinic cares for patients with pulmonary conditions including chronic infections (ie abscess or bronchiectasis), cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease/bronchopulmonary dysplasia, asthma with chronic lung disease, respiratory failure with home ventilator needs, congenital anomalies of the respiratory system, neuromuscular disease, and restrictive lung disease. We provide comprehensive care with physicians, nurses, social workers, dieticians, and respiratory therapists present during the multidisciplinary clinic visits. We will manage your child or your medical needs, including durable medical equipment. For our patients with bronchopulmonary dysplasia we provide a transition of pulmonary care from the NICU to home. We offer management of invasive (home ventilator) and non-invasive (bipap and cpap) ventilation through our Home Mechanical Ventilation Program. Our multidisciplinary clinic meets on Friday.
