Narine Oganyan, MHA
Director of Audiology & Speech Pathology
Narine Oganyan provides oversight for all inpatient and outpatient Audiology and Speech Pathology services within the UCLA Health System. She joined the UCLA Health team in 2009. She earned a Master of Health Administration from USC’s Price School of Public Policy and a Graduate Certificate in Health Systems Operations from USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering. Narine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is passionate about operations, processes, qualitative and quantitative analyses and supporting the delivery of high quality patient care.
Lindsay Lanciault, MA, CCC-SLP
Outpatient Speech Pathology Manager
Lindsay Lanciault received her MA in Speech Pathology at the George Washington University in 2009. She has worked at UCLA since 2013 and is currently the manager of outpatient operations. Her clinical focus is in the area of head and neck cancer rehabilitation, specifically radiation associated dysphagia and alaryngeal speech rehabilitation following total laryngectomy. She is a member of the UCLA Swallowing Disorders Clinic, UCLA Head and Neck Cancer Program, and the UCLA Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophageal Health.
Rebecca Lahti, MS, CCC-SLP
Inpatient Speech Pathology Manager
Rebecca (Becky) received her MS in Speech Pathology from University of the Pacific in 2009. She has worked for UCLA Health since 2013 and is currently the clinical manager for the Inpatient Speech Pathology Department which serves both the Ronald Reagan UCLA Hospital and Santa Monica UCLA Hospital campuses. She has special interests in pediatric and adult dysphagia and enjoys working with teams throughout the hospital system on quality improvement initiatives.
Rose Levi
Operations Manager
Rose Levi is the Operations Manager for Audiology & Speech Clinic. She has worked with the Audiology and Speech Clinic since 2001 and joined UCLA in 1998 working in various departments. Rose is an alumnus of the UCLA Staff Enrichment Program and Ambulatory Lean Academy. Rose ensures that both departments function efficiently and effectively. Her goal is to build strong teams to support and improve the patient care experience. She prioritizes diversity, models inclusion, and practices cultural humility. Rose is passionate about healthcare providing the opportunity to help people in their most vulnerable and unexpected life events.
Christine Malikian, MHA
Process Manager
Christine Malikian received her graduate degree in Healthcare Administration with a Certificate in Management of Ambulatory Care Systems from University of Southern California. She completed her administrative residency at UCLA Health in the Audiology and Speech Pathology department. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Healthcare Administration from University of Southern California. She is passionate about using her analytical and problem-solving skills to improve performance, processes and quality of care.
Nicole Schussel, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech Pathology Supervisor
Nicole Schussel received her MS in Communication Disorders and Sciences at California State University, Northridge in 2012. She has worked at UCLA since 2014 and is currently the Speech Pathology Supervisor. Nicole specializes in pediatric evaluation and treatment across a wide variety of speech and language disorders, with special interests in craniofacial abnormalities and stuttering. She is a member of the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital Craniofacial Team.
Lisa Bolden, MA, CCC-SLP
Senior Speech Pathologist
Lisa Bolden received her MA in Speech Pathology at Northwestern University in 1985. She has worked at UCLA Health since 2000. Lisa focuses her clinical practice in the areas of professional voice, supragastric belching, gender health, inducible laryngeal obstruction, peri-operative voice care, and aging voice. Lisa is a member of the UCLA Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophageal Health, UCLA Gender Health Team, and is a LGBTQ Champion.
Joseph Buhler, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech Pathologist
Joseph (Joey) Buhler, MM, MS, CCC-SLP graduated from California State University Northridge in Spring, 2021 and began his Clinical Fellowship at UCLA shortly thereafter. He comes to speech pathology by way of his background in operatic performance, eager from day one to bring his knowledge and passion for the human voice to the treatment of patients with voice disorders. Joey currently specializes in the assessment and treatment of various populations with swallowing, voice, and neurological speech/language disorders on an outpatient basis as well as working in the acute hospital setting.
Caitlin Glaser, MS, CCC-SLP

Caitlin Glaser received her MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders at William Paterson University in 2014. She has worked at UCLA since 2018. Caitlin focuses her clinical practice in the areas of dysphagia and voice.
Kori Green, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech Pathologist
Kori Green received her MS in Speech and Language Pathology at Chapman University in 2016. She worked in a pediatric multidisciplinary clinic prior to starting at UCLA in 2020. Kori currently provides a variety of services to the pediatric population (e.g., language delay risk intervention, receptive language, expressive language, stuttering, articulation and social pragmatic language).
Christie B. Hall, MS, CCC-SLP

Christie Hall received her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences at California State University, Northridge in 2005 and has worked at UCLA since that time. Christie specializes in pediatric evaluations and treatment across a wide variety of speech and language disorders and is member of the CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder Center of Excellence in the Division of Pediatric Neurology at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. Christie also works with adults with Head and Neck cancer with a specialized focus on speech rehabilitation following a total laryngectomy surgery.

J. R. Laing is a certified and licensed speech language pathologist who specializes in voice disorders, upper airway disorders, and neuromuscular facial retraining (a non-surgical therapeutic approach to the treatment of facial paralysis, paresis, and synkinesis). J. R. joined the UCLA Department of Speech Language Pathology in 2016. She received her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University after receiving her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

Joan obtained her undergraduate degree in Speech and Drama from Occidental College and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Vanderbilt University. Joan has worked at UCLA since 1994 and has clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of cognitive-communication disorders including cognitive disorders, aphasia, dysarthria and apraxia across the lifespan. Aside from treating people with communication problems, Joan has many years of experience as a Speech Pathology Consultant providing insurance claim reviews.
Laura Mckinney, MS, CCC-SLP
Senior Speech Pathologist
Laura studied at the University of Redlands, 1997 and received her Masters of Science in Communicative Disorders in 1999, also at the University of Redlands. She joined The UCLA Speech Pathology Clinic in 2003. Her focus includes adult and pediatric dysphagia. She is also the primary speech pathologist for the UCLA Craniofacial Anomalies Clinic and has been part of the Craniofacial team since 2006.
Haley Moser, MS, CCC-SLP

Haley Moser received her BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington in 2016, and her MS in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2019. She joined UCLA in 2021, and has experience diagnosing and treating a variety of disorders affecting speech and language in children of all ages. She is most passionate about providing culturally and linguistically appropriate evaluations and treatment to bilingual and multilingual patients.
Sarah Panjwani, MA, CCC-SLP

Sarah Panjwani received her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Texas at Austin in 2012. She joined the UCLA Speech Language Pathology clinic in 2015. Sarah currently splits her time between the inpatient and outpatient clinics. Her clinical focus is in the area of dysphagia evaluation and treatment. Sarah is also certified in the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program.
Hayley Polm, MA, CCC-SLP

Hayley Polm received her MA in Speech Pathology at the George Washington University in 2015. She joined the UCLA Speech Clinic in 2020. Hayley is a pediatric speech-language pathologist, and her clinical focus includes early language development, speech sound disorders, and speech fluency. Previously, Hayley worked at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD, where she was a graduate of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Other Related Disabilities (LEND) program.

Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Alabama and her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from George Washington University in 2020. She completed her Clinical Fellowship within the acute care setting, gaining exposure to a variety of populations. She currently works inpatient with special interest in dysphagia assessment and management across the lifespan.

Joanna has been practicing at UCLA since 2017. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science at University of California, San Diego and her master’s degree in Clinical Speech Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University. Her clinical interests include cognitive-communication disorders and swallowing disorders across the lifespan. Other interests including mentoring and development of new clinicians and students.
