Respiratory Care Equipment
The UCLA Respiratory Care Services Equipment Section figures prominently in the success of the department. The equipment section’s main goal is to support our respiratory therapists at both the Ronald Reagan and Santa Monica facilities. Our equipment techs process, assemble, pre-use check, and calibrate a variety of respiratory care equipment that ranges from the routine to cutting edge.
Our RT staff perform state-of-the art therapy in a high utilization environment. The equipment section makes sure they have the equipment they need, when they need it, whether it be a routine or emergency situation any time of the day or night, 365 days a year. We regularly interact with other departments inside the medical center and with outside vendors to maintain a high quality standard for all of our equipment.
