50th Anniversary Celebration

Honoring 50 years of healing, advocacy and creating change

Benefiting The Rape Treatment Center and Stuart House

When you donate to The Rape Treatment Center and Stuart House, you are supporting free, comprehensive, state-of-the-art treatment for child and adult victims of sexual assault.

The Rape Treatment Center at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center was established in 1974 and is internationally recognized for its pioneering work and exemplary treatment, prevention and education programs. The RTC has had a leadership role in advancing policy reform, creating multiagency partnerships and developing innovative service delivery models to help bring justice and compassionate care to victims.

Victims who turn to the Rape Treatment Center reflect the diversity of the community. They receive highly specialized, 24-hour emergency medical care, forensic services, advocacy, crisis counseling, longer-term trauma-informed psychotherapy and many other forms of support. All of these services are free.

Stuart House is an innovative, internationally recognized model program that provides comprehensive services for sexually abused children and their families, all in a child-friendly facility. In a unique multiagency partnership, onsite police detectives, prosecutors, expert child forensic interviewers and advocates work as a team to expedite investigations and child protection actions. Child victims receive 24-hour emergency medical care and forensic services, and skilled therapists provide specialized treatment services that are crucial to their recovery, resilience and long-term health. All of these services are free.
