The Trauma and Emergency Surgery Service is available 24 hours a day to respond to multiply injured patients, patients with general surgical emergencies, and patients who require surgical critical care. This service is available to admit patients through the Emergency Room, accept transfers from other institutions, and for in-house consultations.
The service can be accessed by calling either the director, the chief resident, or the attending on call for the service 24 hours a day through the UCLA page operator at .
