Bartenders, servers are being trained to help prevent sexual assault

UCLA Health Rape Treatment Center conducts recently mandated bystander intervention training for workers in West Hollywood.
In 2021, the city of West Hollywood passed an ordinance requiring bartenders and servers at businesses that serve alcohol to receive bystander intervention training to help prevent sexual violence. In 2022, more than 3,000 employees underwent the training, provided by the UCLA Health Rape Treatment Center
