Two-Way Text Messaging
Manage Your Health with Ease
UCLA Health is excited to introduce a two-way text notification system. Starting July 2024, UCLA Health will help you save time and better manage your health care by sending appointment reminders, prescription reminders, MyChart notifications, updates related to visits or care management, one-time passcodes, billing alerts and other patient-related messages via text message. You can also confirm, cancel or reschedule appointments via text, and accept or decline appointment wait list offers.
How it Works
Patients who’ve previously opted in will begin receiving text messages from short code 85309 on July 24, 2024 and will continue to receive future texts from that number according to their communication preference settings in myUCLAhealth. Patients who have not opted into text messages will continue to receive appointment reminders via email.
Why Opt In?
