UCLA CARE CAB
The UCLA CARE Community Advisory Board (CAB) serves as an advisory board and provides vitally important and diverse community perspectives on HIV/AIDS research activities. Membership in the CAB is open, and has historically been characterized by people living with HIV/AIDS, their families, friends, care givers and people who have demonstrated a commitment to serving the needs of those with HIV/AIDS. Membership is inclusive and open to all individuals regardless of sexual orientation or gender. The CAB meets on a monthly basis to review and give feedback on draft protocols, to discuss research findings and other topics of interest, and to interact with providers and research staff from the CARE Center.
