There are eight Intensive Care Units (ICUs) across the organization – seven at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center with 154 beds and one mixed medical/surgical ICU at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center with 38 beds.

UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center
Our critical care physicians, nurses, and affiliate providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) deliver team-based care. Pharmacists, respiratory therapists, nutrition support specialists and consultant physicians representing dozens of medical specialties also participate in the critical care teams, as needed. Each has special interest, training and advanced competency in the care of the critically ill patient and their family.
