UCLA Critical Care of the Future 2019

Insight, Informatics and Artificial Intelligence in Critical Care

March 28-29, 2019

UCLA Campus

Conference Director: Paul Vespa

We are pleased to announce a two-day conference to explore advancement in care delivery through insight, informatics and artificial intelligence in critical care. This year, we feature a dedicated workshop for ICU nurses, nurse practitioners and nursing leaders which explores fostering and facilitating insights at the bedside. Nursing insights are fundamental to understanding the limitations of our current electronic health systems and for building a better solution.

In our second day, we feature an academic-business roundtable on informatics and artificial intelligence in critical care. This conference will feature small group discussion, dialogue and strategic thinking about how to facilitate advanced practice at the bedside, decision support, and use of informatics technologies to enhance everyday practice and to facilitate discovery at the bedside. We invite industry, academic, governmental and non-governmental organizations interested in fostering informatics, artificial intelligence and bioengineering in health care with specific interests in emergency and critical care.

Note: This is a non-CME event.
