Physician Moderate Sedation

In order to initially request and be eligible for Physician Moderate Sedation, physicians must successfully complete a test designed to evaluate their knowledge of:

  • The UCLA Policy for the Use of Moderate Sedation and Analgesia during Procedures
  • The American Society of Anesthesiologists' Practice Guidelines for Sedation and Analgesia by Non-Anesthesiologists

  1. Login to Cornerstone website with your AD account. Please Click Here(Link is external) (Link opens in new window).
  1. Click on Learning and Select Browse for training

  1. From the browse for training click on the Search box and type and select Physician Sedation Training

  1. Request Training

  1. Launch Training to begin

  1. Please click on the play arrow to begin. Training should be approximately 45 minutes and consists of a series of questions at the end.

  1. Please make sure to keep a copy of the certificate and submit a copy of your Certificate to CREDENTIALINGHD@MEDNET.UCLA.EDU
