Phillip Gonzales, MBA

Phillip Gonzales is Senior Vice President and Credit Risk Manager for Dealer Financial Services at Bank of America. With over 40 years of experience in commercial lending, Phil provides loan approval of inventory, real estate and acquisition financing for all major automobile dealer clients west of the Mississippi River.  He obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics from UC – Berkeley and has a MBA from UCLA.

In 1986, Phil’s wife, Anne Louise, was diagnosed as having breast cancer. After surgery and chemo therapy, Anne and Phil were cancer free for 14 years. However, in the year 2000 cancer returned. Shortly thereafter, Anne aggressively availed herself of the services of the Simms Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology. Such services provided tremendous support to Anne (and Phil) in dealing with the fear and uncertainty of cancer.  Sorrowfully, Anne passed away in 2005. Recognizing the value of the Center’s services, Phil has continued to support the Center with financial contributions and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Center. Phil and his wife, Barbara, live in Simi Valley, California.
