Our comprehensive, whole-person approach addresses the many needs of people with cancer and their loved ones. We offer most of our programs, services and resources free of charge. That’s why the Simms/Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology depends on philanthropic support to fulfill our mission.

The Center continues to expand, offering services to more patients at UCLA Health oncology clinics throughout Southern California. With this dramatic expansion comes the need for even greater philanthropy.
Please join us as we empower, guide and support people touched by cancer. Donating to the Center ensures that all UCLA Health patients and their loved ones can access our vital services when needed. It is especially important for people to know they can count on us to support them during a challenging time. Your donation will:

Choose the donation option that works for you
When you give to the Simms/Mann Center, you can choose for your gift to support the Center now, through the current use fund. Or you can support the center today and tomorrow through the endowment campaign. Current use donations are put to use immediately, funding various aspects of the Center’s work. Gifts to the endowment fund are matched and invested to ensure the Center’s long-term sustainability, through an annual payout.
There are many ways to support the Simms/Mann Center, including one-time or recurring donations, matching gifts, charitable IRA rollover and planned giving through a will or estate. You may also pledge to donate funds, which can be paid over five years. You can donate to a specific Simms/Mann program and give in honor of a loved one or family member.

One-time or recurring donation to the current use fund
We make it easy for you to give a one-time contribution or set up a recurring donation of any amount. Contributions to the Simms/Mann Center current use fund support our comprehensive programs and services.
Many people choose to donate in memory of, or in honor of, someone close to them. These gifts are a meaningful way to pay tribute to a loved one and recognize a birthday, anniversary, holiday or other life event. When you donate in honor of a loved one, our team will send a personal acknowledgment stating that a gift has been received in memory of that individual. We will not disclose the amount of the gift.

Gift-matching endowment
The Center launched a $50 million endowment campaign, led by a generous $18 million gift from the Simms/Mann Family Foundation. Their gift includes a matching fund to inspire others to contribute.
When you donate to the endowment campaign, the Simms/Mann Family Foundation will match your gift at 20%. Contributions to the endowment campaign will ensure that the Center can continue providing vital cancer support services today and for years to come. Gifts to UCLA are subject to a 6.5% gift fee. The endowment match applies to the net total of the gift.

Charitable IRA rollover
If you are 70½ or older, you may be interested in lowering the income and taxes from your IRA withdrawals. An IRA charitable rollover allows you to help advance patient care at the Simms/Mann Center. Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your IRA to the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation (JCCF). Be sure to note that your gift is for the Simms/Mann Center.
Personal fundraising
Through a personal fundraising campaign, you can support and honor a loved one, recognize a Simms/Mann staff member or raise awareness about our services. The fundraising page is easy to create, and you can dedicate it to a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary or wedding.

Planned giving
Should you choose to designate the Simms/Mann Center in your will or trust, our team can help. We also offer options that provide income during your lifetime. Personal checks or stocks
In addition to online donations, you can give to the current use fund or endowment campaign by writing a check or donating stocks.
