Ronald Simms has been extensively involved in all aspects of real estate, development, acquisition and ownership of commercial properties for over 35 years. Mr. Simms graduated from the University of Southern California and practiced as an attorney and as a CPA for approximately 6 years, prior to his full time involvement in real estate.
He began developing real estate for his personal account in 1974 and he has developed and acquired approximately 2 million square feet of commercial real estate, including office buildings, retail, industrial, and data centers.
As the Vice-President of The Simms Mann Family Foundation, Mr. Simms has a strong commitment to quality education. In 1980, he was instrumental in bringing Landmark School (a school dedicated to helping with learning differences) from Boston to L.A. Additionally, Mr. Simms served on the board of Fulfillment Fund, which currently assists over 3,000 disadvantaged teens in graduating from high school and going on to college. Also, Mr. Simms serves on the National Board of the FIDF (Friends of the Israel Defense Forces).
Mr. Simms is involved in many other civic and charitable entitles. He is currently active at the UCLA Health Board, the Board of Governors of Cedars Sinai Hospital and he, along with his wife, was instrumental in launching the Simms/Mann Health and Wellness Center at the Venice Family Clinic and the Simms Mann UCLA Center of Integrative Oncology. Both medical facilities are free to all patients.
Ron enjoys playing golf. As an avid fisherman, Ron is a member of the Trustees for Alaska, a group concerned with preserving the environment.
