Admission Requirements

Postdoctoral residents must have completed a PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology by the residency start date, as well as completion of a pre-doctoral internship. An APA-accredited graduate program and internship are preferred, but not required. 

Compensation and Certification

Postdoctoral residents will be paid an annual salary, in addition to UCLA GME resident benefits(Link is external) (Link opens in new window). Pre-licensure coursework specific to CA licensure will also be subsidized fully by the program. This program is being funded by a Graduate Psychology Education grant provided by the Health Resources and Services Administration. 

Upon program completion, fellows will receive a certificate of completion signed by Program Director, Dr. Marco Hidalgo, and Chair for the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. E. Dale Abel.
