Who Can Apply?
- All masters-level graduate students who can complete the MCH certificate requirements are eligible for the MCH Training Program.
- ONLY doctoral candidates are eligible for the MCH Epidemiology Fellowship.
Eligibility
- Current masters or doctoral student at UCLA
- This training program is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) under training grant T76MC00014. Based on grant stipulations, in order to receive financial support under this program, a trainee must be a U.S. citizen or non-citizen national or other permanent resident of the United States.
Required Application Materials
- Resume/CV
- Statement of Purpose (250 words max) answering the following question: Please state why you believe you are an ideal candidate for the MCH CoE Training program and what you hope to achieve by the end of this program. Discuss your career goals and how this program will help prepare them/achieve them.
Timeline
- Recruitment occurs in Fall Quarter, online applications are due Week 6 of Fall Quarter at the link below.
- Interviews are conducted Weeks 6-10 of Fall Quarter.
- Students are notified of acceptance at the end of Fall Quarter (Weeks 9-10).
- Newly admitted trainees start in Winter Quarter.
