Our residents practice at three primary inpatient locations: Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, and VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Center. Research trainees have access to technology, including research scanners, high density EEG array, TMS, TDC, miniscopes, and Optimal Coherence Tomography (OCT). UCLA is more than 400 acres, yet it is also the most compact per person of all the UC’s. This combination makes for a tightly integrated environment, where access to faculty, technology and resources is plentiful and never far away. Our clinical settings include The Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, one of the top tertiary referral centers in the U.S. treating patients from across the United States and the world. Our other clinical care settings comprise an exceptionally diverse patient population in terms of culture, race and economic status, as would be expected in the second largest metropolitan area in the country. A great advantage of the UCLA program is the broad and deep education in clinical neurology afforded by the diversity of training sites and faculty size.
