  • Yalda Afshar, MD, PhD, was featured in Nature(Link is external) (Link opens in new window) for her work on capturing data on pregnancy and COVID-19. Dr. Afshar is the Co-PI of PRIORITY (Pregnancy CoRonavirus Outcomes RegIsTrY), a nationwide study of pregnant women who are either under investigation for COVID-19 or have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This study is overseen jointly by UCLA and UCSF researchers.
