Autopsy/Neuropathology

Residents spend 4 months on the Autopsy/Neuropathology service at the Westwood-UCLA campus where they perform autopsies and manage the surgical pathology subspecialty service for neuropathology specimens. Residents participate in autopsy conference presentations, brain cutting conference, and cardiology conferences. 

An additional month in forensic pathology is spent at the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
