Ronald Reagan Medical Center

Ronald Reagan Medical Center is a large tertiary care hospital and an adjacent ambulatory complex located on the UCLA Westwood campus in proximity the entire biomedical and basic science university community. This complex serves as a major referral center for the southern California region and has a full complement of surgical and medical subspecialities, including one of the leading solid organ transplantation programs in the world. Infectious diseases fellows rotating at RRUMC will gain experience in managing complex patients with multiple comorbidities and degrees of immunocompromised status.

UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center is a 266-bed hospital that includes the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital for Children, the Cystic Fibrosis Program and UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the UCLA Family Medicine, in addition to general medical and surgical services. Infectious Diseases fellows rotating at Santa Monica will gain experience in managing more of a community-based mix of patients and patients with medical and surgical infectious disease issues.
