General interests: Musical theatre, dance, bouldering, trying new restaurants/food, playing with my nieces/nephews
Why UCLA?: ​The faculty and trainees here have made me feel exceptional welcome since Day 1 of medical school. Throughout my journey at UCLA, I've had robust support and encouragement to pursue small and big academic projects including an NIH-Fogarty / UCGHI "Glocal" Global Health Fellowship during medical school, where I had the opportunity to take a year to run my original-design study in Vietnam. The individuals at UCLA are friendly and the training environment is non-intimidating; I feel welcomed and prepared for success here!
