Dr. Douglas G. Farmer, MD, FACS, is a highly respected leader in transplant surgery, serving as chief of the Division of Liver and Pancreas Transplantation and director of the Adult Liver Transplant Program at UCLA. A renowned expert in liver and intestinal transplantation, hepatobiliary surgery, and complex gastrointestinal procedures, Dr. Farmer has played a pivotal role in shaping UCLA’s world-class transplant programs since joining the faculty in 1998.
