Support Groups
California Heart Connection: Non-profit support network for children and adults throughout the U.S. who have congenital heart defects (CHD). Founded by parents of children with CHD, it is run solely by volunteers and provides free support and information through these programs:
- Matching of families/individuals with similar heart defects
- Events such as our Annual Heart Picnic, occasional seminars
- An online support group
- Teddy Bears to children undergoing heart surgery FREE, downloadable handouts and forms for physicians and patient
