Clinic Overview
The UCLA Addiction Psychiatry Clinic offers medication management and behavioral treatment for patients with substance-related and addictive disorders as well as mental health disorders. Our expertise includes, but is not limited to:
- Alcohol
- Heroin and prescription opioids
- Cocaine
- Amphetamines/methamphetamine
- Cannabis
- Benzodiazepines
- Tobacco
- Gambling
- Other behavioral addictions (e.g. hypersexual behaviors, internet, shopping)
Medication treatments for substance use disorders are available, including buprenorphine induction and maintenance treatment, acamprosate, naltrexone, disulfiram, nicotine replacement therapy, and varenicline.
This clinic is staffed by UCLA addiction psychiatry faculty, residents, and fellows.
Who We See
We evaluate and treat adults with substance use and mental health disorders. Medicare and multiple private insurance plans are accepted.
