Earlier this year, UCLA Obstetrics and Gynecology partnered with the Global Health Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM) at UCLA and the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Society of India (FOGSI) to organize a Virtual Symposium on Postpartum Maternal Health.
Dr. Aparna Sridhar, Associate Clinical Professor of UCLA Obstetrics and Gynecology, spearheaded the collaboration and served as the key organizer for the symposium. The following faculty participated with a range of topics presented:

Dr. Kelsey Martin, Dean of UCLA DGSOM, Dr. Deborah Krakow, Chair of UCLA Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Risa Hoffman, UCLA Global Health Program Director and Dr. Alpesh Gandhi, the president of FOGSI, inaugurated the 2-day virtual symposium that was attended by 1,000 obstetric-gynecologists across India.
