Closer to a Cure Community Lecture Series: Updates in CAR T-Cell Therapies for Blood Cancer Treatment
Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR T) therapies have demonstrated in a short period of time its potential to expand the cancer care landscape. Participants will learn about CAR T-cell therapy, how it is being utilized in blood cancer treatment, the latest innovations and available clinical trials, and what we can expect in the future.
Advances in Treating Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)
Current and new strategies for treating acute myeloid leukemia (AML), including available clinical trials. We will also be addressing concerns in cancer survivorship post-treatment.

This program will address the important role of clinical trials in cancer treatment. We will be discussing what they are, when to consider them in treatment, their safety, and common misconceptions.
