Ambulatory Fire and Life Safety Program
The Fire/Life Safety Program is responsible for providing fire and life safety services to the non-licensed UCLA Health Ambulatory clinics. Our goal is to implement preventative measures, along with education and training to ensure the safety of staff, patients, and visitors.
Our program services include:
- Interpreting and applying fire and life safety codes, laws and regulations
- Overseeing safety related to construction and renovations
- Assisting in maintaining Life Safety Plans
- Fire and life safety inspections of existing facilities
- Fire drills and fire extinguisher training
- Fire extinguisher inspections
- New and refresher fire and life safety training
- Fire investigation/emergency incident follow up
- Liaison with the local Fire Departments and other regulatory agencies
