Nutrition and Cancer: Tips to Stay Healthy Through Treatment
Cancer and its treatment can present significant challenges that can potentially impact a person’s ability to obtain adequate nutrition. Patients are often confused by information they may hear or see regarding what the best approach to nutrition during cancer treatment may be. This workshop aims to address some of the common nutrition impact symptoms when undergoing treatment—including but not limited to early satiety, constipation, diarrhea, and changes in taste and smell. The facilitator will discuss how to manage these symptoms to help improve nutritional status.
