Clinician-Educator, Division of Endourology

The Department of Urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA currently seeks applicants for a Surgeon with experience in endourology and laser enucleation of the prostate.
Qualified candidates must hold an MD or MD/PhD degree or equivalent, be board-certified in Urology, and have a valid California medical license. Candidates should hold a valid California fluoroscopy license. Candidates must have completed a fellowship training in Endourology. Demonstrated excellence in teaching and clinical work.
The candidate's clinical focus will be on all aspects of endourology and general urology. The sites of service will include our facilities in Santa Monica and may also include our current and future locations in Westwood, and North Campus (Valley). The target clinical productivity is 1,875 RVU per quarter. The academic home of the candidate will be in the Division of Endourology, reporting directly to the Chief of the Division of Endourology. The candidate will also be expected to participate in the faculty call schedule.
The candidate will be expected to participate regularly in the educational mission of the Department and the School of Medicine. This will include medical student, intern, resident, and fellow teaching in the clinic, operating room, and classroom. The candidate must generate academic productivity in the form of peer-reviewed publications. The candidate will also be expected to provide administrative service to the Department and University.
