1. Westwood’s Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center (RRMC)
Flagship of the UCLA medical system, ranked among the top medical centers nationally.
Located on UCLA’s main campus, five miles from the Pacific Ocean.
Beautiful new building designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei
Neighborhood of Westwood’s university life nearby upscale Beverly Hills and Brentwood.

2. West Los Angeles VA Medical Center
Modern VA hospital on a large veterans’ campus
Located in Brentwood a short one-mile bike ride or drive west of RRMC
Tertiary care center for the Southern California VA network
VA referral center for Epilepsy Surgery and EMU for the Southwestern US
Faculty members are a part of the UCLA Department of Neurology
UCLA general neurology residents train here
Fellows in the VA tracks train both at the VA and UCLA Westwood RRMC

3. Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center (SMH)
Elective training site four miles west of RRMC
Located on Wilshire Boulevard in upscale Santa Monica
Specializes in pediatrics, obstetrics, geriatrics, and orthopedics
Fellows may spend time here

Elective training site
Located about 18 miles north of Westwood
A county hospital offering additional teaching by highly rated UCLA faculty.
Occasionally used at a fellow’s elective choice
