Application Process
Application Process
Residency applications are submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We require that applicants register with the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) and submit the appropriate application materials. Our program number is 3000511034.
Program Signaling and Geographic Preferences
- Applicants who signal our program will have priority application review; however, signaling does not guarantee an interview.
- Applicants with geographic preferences which include pacific or those who indicate no geographic preference will have priority review. However, having these preferences does not guarantee an interview.
Research Track
Research track (physician scientist training program) applicants should indicate their interest by selecting number 1956300C1 when submitting their ERAS application to ensure their applications are reviewed for this track. We recommend applicants interested in this track include information regarding future research career plan in their personal statements. This is a highly competitive track with one position per year and only those with significant prior research training will be considered. For more information on the available tracks, please visit our Program Tracks webpage.
AP/NP and CP Track
We offer AP only, CP only, and AP/NP tracks. These can be paired with either general program track number 300511034 or research track number 1956300C1. We request that applicants indicate in their personal statement if they wish to be considered for one of these tracks. Applicants are also asked to indicate if they wish to be considered for only one of these tracks or multiple tracks (e.g., also considered for AP/CP track).
Required Supporting Application Materials
The following are the required supporting application materials to the ERAS Common Application Form:
- USMLE Transcript (scores)
- Medical School Transcripts
- Photograph
- Curriculum Vitae
- Personal Statement
- Letters of Recommendation (3 minimum)
