Men’s Health Workshop at UCLA
Men’s Health Workshop
Dr. Jesse Mills, Director of The Men’s Clinic at UCLA and Clinical Professor of UCLA Urology, invites you to spend two days at The Men’s Clinic at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA to gain insight into the operation of a high-volume men's health clinic to apply to your own practice.
Workshop participants will spend one day in the OR observing microsurgery, penile prosthetic surgeries, and plaque excision and grafting procedures. After surgery, the clinic hosts a dinner where attendees will learn about cutting edge research in Peyronie’s Disease, ask clinical questions to UCLA faculty, and discuss implementation of principles learned during the workshop.
The following day will be spent in Dr. Mills’s high volume clinic where the participant will observe many Xiaflex injections, vasectomies, and other office-based procedures. Attendees will have the day to ask questions, use patient care materials developed by Dr. Mills, and gain a better understanding of how to operate a high volume, concierge-based clinic.
Ideal candidates are non-fellowship-trained urologists, urology trainees (fellows and residents) and advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs) with backgrounds underrepresented in medicine; however, all interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
