The Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applications for Clinician-Investigator positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or full Professor ranks. Rank and step commensurate with experience. The successful applicant is expected to conduct research and submit research grants leading to independence as an investigator. The position will include various amounts of ambulatory primary care, consultation practice, inpatient and consult attending responsibilities in the UCLA Healthcare System. Other responsibilities will include teaching UCLA medical students, medicine housestaff, and geriatric fellows. An M.D. or D.O. is required. Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in Geriatrics and have advanced research training.
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The salary range for this position is $142,100-$340,400. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
