A Training Hub for Aspiring Medical Professionals

For decades, the CORELAB has been a pivotal resource, providing younger trainees with essential skills crucial for success in the field of medicine. Our undergraduates exemplify excellence in research early on in their careers and have gone to top medical programs.

Undergraduates are expected to prioritize learning in the laboratory environment from their peers and exhibit a concrete understanding of our robust statistical methods. By assisting medical students and residents with research projects, our undergraduates gain a foundational understanding of outcomes research. Once prepared, students play integral roles in assisting team members with writing and data analysis. Furthermore, undergraduates have the ability to lead projects and present at conferences alongside their fellow CORELAB team.

Our undergraduates have presented their work at the Undergraduate Research Week receiving prizes for their projects and numerous other annual meetings including the Annual Academic Surgical Congress.
