Recycling
Recycling is our last line of defense in avoiding waste to the landfill. At UCLA Health, we partner with our waste hauler, Athens, to collect a variety of materials in our blue or designated recycling bins. Recycling bins are found in facilities owned and managed by UCLA Health. Recycling bins are accompanied by our signage that indicates the following items should be recycled.

Recycling Liner
Recycling Liners are blue - the blue liner signals to patrons and staff that only recyclable items should be placed in that bin. The blue liner also helps our Environmental Services and Food Services teams identify that the blue bag should be placed in the Recycling receptacle.
