  • Train fellows who understand that a person’s well-being is influenced by social determinants of health, access to care, and environment
  • Create a supportive place of learning and practice that is focused on collaboration and professionalism, encompasses improvement, promotes scientific inquiry, and equips fellows to be leaders within their healthcare teams, institutions, and communities.
  • Promote individualized educational opportunities to support the full range of professional aspirations within our field, including advocacy, research, community service, global health, the underserved, and care of medically complex children across the entire medical spectrum
  • Prepare fellows to practice medicine through the application of evidence-based medicine, pursing quality improvement principles and utilizing technology for optimal patient care
