Clinical/Counseling Psychology Postdoctoral Residency
Program Overview
This 12-month, full-time postdoctoral clinical/counseling psychology residency program is committed to providing advanced training in evidence-based treatment for mental health conditions that commonly present within interdisciplinary community settings. The patient populations consist of adult and adolescent patients/clients within settings that include telehealth and traditional outpatient therapy. Clinical rotations are completed at a variety of settings, offering fellows diverse experiences in the field of behavioral health.
These settings include:
- An innovative youth drop-in setting
- A substance use residential treatment/intensive outpatient program (IOP)
- The University of California Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (UC-LEND) Clinic
- The Gender Health Program (GHP)
Each resident will rotate through multiple clinic locations to gain the full breadth of
therapeutic modalities among a diversity of Los Angeles populations served by UCLA
Health and its affiliates.
